Everyone is free to be themselves at Alma

At Alma, our operations are guided by common values: free and pluralistic communication, team play and courage.

In line with our values, we believe that we need a vast variety of Alma employees to build the future of our business. We hire new employees solely based on their skills, abilities and suitability. Alma employees have the right to a safe, pleasant, renewing and evolving work environment, as well as respect for privacy and private life.

Every Alma employee can contribute to the fact that our work community is inspiring, diverse and permissive. Every Alma employee must respect the fundamental rights of individuals. We do not allow discrimination on the basis of age, gender, race, color, nationality or ethnic origin, religion, belief, family relationship, sexual orientation, or any disability. We do not tolerate sexual harassment or other harassment, threats, abusive behavior, physical or mental violence, or bullying in the workplace.

Alma Media respects the UN Global Compact initiative, the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Declaration of the International Labor Organization (ILO) on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and similar responses to stakeholders.

Everyone at Alma has a responsibility to act responsibly

In May, Alma Media published a new, updated Code of Conduct. The principles form the basis of all our activities. The Code of Conduct deals with e.g. personnel, human rights and environmental policies. In addition to the updated Code of Conduct, there will be an online course on Code of Conduct. It will be  launched in all local Alma Career languages and you will receive a link to in due course.  All Alma employees must complete the course.
